The International School in a Sri Lankan Environment

The new logo consists of elements that signify the essence of Gateway College. The colors signify school colours (BLUE & GREY), power and energy (RED) and purity (WHITE). THE TWO SRI LANKAN LIONS hold the shield, depicting courage and bravery, thus showing the Sri Lankan identity of the school. THE DOVE is the school’s highest award in sport. THE GLOBE signifies the International education whilst THE ARROW shows Gateway’s advancement in technology. THE BOOK depicts knowledge while THE TORCH signifies enlightenment. THE THREE INTERWOVEN SQUARES indicate teamwork and a sense of belonging between Parent, Teacher & Student. The three colours of the diagonals: ORANGE, GREEN & MAROON signify the Communities of Sri Lanka together with the school being Multi Ethnic & Multi Religious.
